Today I saw an unusual event. The Stampeders actually had offence. Even in their few wins (remember when?) they were won by the defence. This is the first game all season that Henry could actually move the ball (by the way it's August, can I say it now? Man, the Riders looked good on paper at the beginning of the season).
A question for those of you who have seen the Riders live this season: Is it just my TV or are they wearing mint green pants this year? I sure hope not, maybe that light grey/silver is getting some green reflection from the turf. The whole 2nd half of the game I was trying to figure out if they are wearing grey or mint. If it is mint that might be one of the reasons they have not done so well lately. (Sorry Eric I just had to bring it all up since my guys actually won a game!)

From what I saw of the game (and that wasn't much) trying to figure out the colour of the pants would be about all that was interesting in the second half.
The Stamps offence has shown up twice this year, both times against the Riders. It may not bode well for the Stamps if they face the riders in the playoffs (if...). Everyone in Riderville likes to look back to 1989, here is another reference.
