Well, the first pre-season game is almost done and my boys don't look like they are pulling this one out. I just watched the Sportsnet West highlights... ahh it's nice to see the boys on the field again.
Sportsnet had a great story about John Avery (former great Argo running back, now bench warmer, until NFL boy does nothing). It seems that Avery is a comedian. (OK maybe we are going to win this game) He was doing a stand up routine at Yuk Yuks and was pretty funny. Mostly jokes about CFL poverty >> "Don't mind the cameras, we're doing a telethon to support the CFL"
It's official ... the Stamps won ... not that a pre-season victory means anything.

You gotta love listening to Ricky give interviews though - the guy sounds so nice - like he's permanently on dope... The thing you were forgetting - I'm sure Eric will agree, is your evaluation of the new CFL powerhouse green & white... I think this might be the year!
Ahhh Yes, the Green and White. At the beginning of every season you have to say, "Man they look good on paper - they did some great acquisitions in the off season" Then in October we say, Man I thought they were going to do so well - they looked so solid in June."
Stamps won on the arm of Danny Mac? Do you really want to brag about that?
The stuff I read about this weekend's game for the green and white seems kind of disappointing when compared to the paper team. I guess we'll see once the preseason is over.
