The Vancouver Police Department is changing the look of their cars, and they want your input. The official reason is that it will save 50% of the cost of "logo-ing" the old design. I guess 3M makes a new reflective sticker that is cheaper and easier to apply. Whatever the reason, I always love a new design on a police car (I don't know why, I just think it is cool!).
So the VPD is asking for submissions, they are even asking elementary school students for submissions. I'm sure the one designed with glitter glue and crayolas will win ;) I made my selection for #2.

I chose #4 - cool story. :) But as you told me later, the police chief will just choose which one He wants, and this is just a publicity stunt. I guess they do need something! LOL
Yeah... I can see it actually being nothing more than a publicity stunt. But it's still a pretty cool idea.
Hey! If they really wanted to milk it, they could go with whichever one they really wanted, but then put 4 or 5 "special cars" out on the road with the designs of the runners-up.
Just a thought... Anyway, Calgary could use a new design, too...
