Good Television

There isn't alot of good television out there, but for some reason I still watch alot of television. Our friends at Shaw cable offered us a a really good deal for six months so we are about half way through the six months and I have actually discovered a couple good shows. One show has been on since September (I think) but we didn't get it with peasant-vision, The other just started a few weeks ago.

Extreme Makeover Home Edition stars Ty Pennington (Trading Spaces), each week Ty and his crew change the lives of a deserving family. The show isn't about decorating and home improvements - it's about people and changing lives, it's about giving deserving people a helping hand. Every episode even the contractors/homebuilders are crying.

NUMB3RS is a new drama on CBS. Charlie Epps (David Krumholtz) is a mathematician (sounds like a must see already right?!?) who helps his brother (the FBI agent) Don (Rob Morrow) solves crimes. I thought that the first episode might have used up all of the story lines, but so far all three episodes have been great!
