Done again Dunigan

It's official, Matt is done again. The new ownership group of the Stampeders has turfed Dunigan (I wonder if TSN kept his seat warm?) If you follow the link you might see one of the reasons why it did not work out; He thought he was coaching the Flames. Matt I'm looking forward to you in the broadcast booth

Todd, I would love to hear your opinion on the firing thing. My opinion as a nonfan was that Dunnigan was actually starting to get somewhere. I thought that some of the things he did during his time that he was starting to turn things around. Maybe that was just the end of the season lull that other teams can encounter when playing a loosing team.

Eric, I think no coach can be judged after one season. (Including Dunnigan) I really doubted what he did at the beginning of the season (but then they won their first game, but not many after that)I did think that by the end of the season he made some good moves to set them up for 2005. Unfortunatly (I am assuming since I don't live in Calgary anymore)Dunnigan has alot of history to overcome to become a Calgary fan favourite. I thought by the end of last season Dunnigan might have made something happen this year. But I think the role of Coach and GM is alot for a newbie to handle.

Rumour is that Barker is coming back as GM (I like him from the very little I know about him)and Higgins is coming down to be the head coach - I loved Higgins when he was an assistant in Calgary, but as a head coach I don't think he has been a risk-taker (like Wally's World). I do have a soft spot for Tommy boy though -- In a time long long ago in a land far far away I showed him a play we developed for Kickoff on the high school team I coached. I saw the Eskimos use it 2 seasons ago (I'm sure I had nothing to do with their current play development, but I can also stroke my own ego)

Wow Eric, you're good! even my wife can't get me to write that much about one subject.

I was wondering if you know (since you're geographically closer) are all of the Bluebombers cheerleaders pole dancers? I was just looking at CFL.ca and this months cheer choice is Shawna from the BB. Why is she wrapped around a pole?

Only 5 months till training camp
