I was laying in bed last night wondering if my new deodorant was working. I bought this new stuff from Arm & Hammer (it was on sale at London Drugs, so why not). Anyways, the tube says that it is good for 36 hours. Who needs a deodorant that is good for 36 hours? So, if I put it on at 8:00 am on Tuesday, I will need to reapply at 8:00 pm on Wednesday. Did they ever think that I might shower in between then and wash it off?
What's the point of a 36 hour deodorant? Even Jack (Keifer Sutherland) on the TV show 24 doesn't need a 36 hour deodorant, just 24.
Anyways, I think this marketing ploy is a flop, but I sure smell nice.

And you have to ask yourself, "36 hours of doing what?"
Did they test this on guys who were sitting around watching TV for 3 days straight? Or was a group of dedicated runners doing 6 straight marathons?
If it was the first, then I'll bet it lasts just as long as normal deodorants do. But if it was the second, well! You could let yourself go for about a week and a half before you'd have to finally give in and reapply! What a coup for all those 30-year old guys out there, still living in their parents' basement, playing video games!
