bubble trouble

I have been enjoying the simplicity of hot drinks lately. No, I'm not talking about ordering a hot drink -- that takes a PhD in Baristaology. I'm talking about knowing which drink is yours once you get it. Since I have been drinking the hot drinks lately (since it is roll up the rim time -- by the way, we have emptied well over 9 cups and haven't won a thing; give me a break that the odds are 1:9) When you get your tray of drinks from Timmy Ho it is easy to spot which one is mine. They write on the brown lid with a white grease pencil HC. I can easily distinguish this from my wife coffee (thank goodness).

Normally I would have to take a best guess at what drink is mine. You would think that the cold drink industry would be easier since they have clever little buttons on the lid. One for Cola, one for Diet, and one for RB or more commonly, Other. Simple right? Wrong!

What does it mean if you order a Diet Coke, and a Coke and get a pop with nothing pressed and one with Other pressed? We guessed the Other was a Diet, yeah we won!

What does it mean if 2 buttons are pressed? What about all three?

Who can make such a simple system go so wrong? This isn't just a problem at one restaurant, this problem is at epidemic proportions.

I used to train people how to do these jobs, now I realize that I have left the reigns in the hands of the wrong people.

Please, please, please, If I order a Coke press the cola button and just the cola button. I know the urge to press bubbles (commonly know as bubble wrap syndrome), but I promise you will get to press a button during the next order.

Too funny! We won a free coffee yesterday right during sunday school! LOL! It was the first time I had won on those stupid things, to tell the truth, ususally I just throw them out, forgetting about the rim rolling business, Wade goes nuts when I tell him that! LOL!
See Ya!
