>>>rant begins now
ENOUGH ALREADY!!!

I don't really care about your theory, factual reasoning, educated hockey knowledge or plain stupid logic on why Canada didn't even make the Men's hockey medal round.
I've read that the gruelling NHL schedule was the problem, guess what, The high scorers on the othe teams also play in the NHL. I've heard that it is all the coaches fault - last time I saw the Olympics the coach wasn't even given a medal (watch the medal ceremony), I've heard other bloggers complain that it was Big Bert's fault 'cause he was in the penalty box. Uhh I think you need to score to win, not just avoid putting pucks in your own net. I don't really care what your theory is!! Not even if you think we should have worn those mustard yellow jerseys.

Canada has won one gold in mens hockey in the last half century. Get over it! It's not like we've never lost before.

CANADA HAS HAD ITS BEST PERFOMANCE EVER AT THE WINTER OLYMPICS.
We have some amazing athletes! Why can't we talk about our best Olympics ever instead of dwelling every moment of TV and Blog coverage on a bunch of millionaires who didn't do their country proud?

I love our athletes and I am impressed by their accomplishments and their Olympic spirit. I am sorry that I had to spend this much space ranting about the patheticness that I have been seeing, hearing and reading.

I am Proud to be a Canadian! And I am Proud of our Canadian athletes. These kids have been amazing and this has been our best Olympics ever.

Can I get an AMEN! We are sick of all the griping over here too. All the bitter people sitting around pointing fingers from thier couches, stuffing thier faces with chips and beer like they think they could do any better!!! Really now, so what if they didn't get a medal, they got to the olympics which is far more than most of their critics can say. They are human after all aren't they???? Mistakes are allowed right???

Stewy hears this all the time, but I must say: "The pride comes before the fall..."
We didn't deserve to win and I actually stopped cheering for them early in the tournament. I'm so proud of our other athletes--ones that don't get the daily/weekly recognition of our NHL players.
A special mention for Cindy Klassen and Brad Gushue! Go Canada!
