First of all it is Alberta and Saskatchewan's 100th birthdays, so they are releasing specially minted quarters to celebrate, I don't think they are in circulation yet. But I recently acquired two cool new coins in my change. The Victory Nickel and the Terry Fox loonie. These two won't be going back into circulation, and hopefully I will soon be taking two quarters out of circulation as well.

Ever since I was knee-high to a grasshopper my Grandma bought me a set of coins from the Royal Canadian Mint. So I have had a fascination with coins for a long time. I was quite excited to find out there are some new coins for 2005. 
First of all it is Alberta and Saskatchewan's 100th birthdays, so they are releasing specially minted quarters to celebrate, I don't think they are in circulation yet.
