I've been bugging Todd for awhile now that he should start a blog, as he says something to me almost every day that makes me die laughing and makes our marriage so much richer! I know the rest of the world would appreciate his humour in some small way, or at least you should. HA!
So, he decided we should add a blog for him, and I will post things in here that make me laugh or that he forwards me from time to time, and he will post things in here that make him laugh or that he thinks are interesting. He's an interesting dude. :) He came up with the title (clearly his idea...he assures me it was classier than his first choice...oh dear) and it will be kind of a shared blog between us that I hope the general public (aka you) will enjoy. I know he'll have shorter posts than me (but let's just say that is because he types slower, ok?). :)
This reminds me of the scrapbook page I made from our honeymoon of all the humourous signs he found in our travels - from the Jolly Bunfiller Subshop to "Blowing Dust" in Saskatchewan (which he thought was redundant), to the school crossing signs from the 50s in Dauphin, to the world's largest firetruck (which apparently was Pink and we never did find it), to the horrid convenience store called Kum 'n' Go. Just bad in every way. Funny but bad.
When we're with my family, it is hilarious to watch them react to Todd and guess at things he'll think are amusing. They are quite intrigued by Todd I think. When we're with his family, especially his brother, I can't stop laughing, because they are so similar, and I'm not used to being around someone who is so much like Todd. I love it, and it is so cool to see them together.
Todd loves football (more specifically the CFL and the Stampeders), country music, Canadian things, Disney-esque things, news stories, things about Alberta (well, mostly Calgary), good deals, photography, creating cool things on the computer, being creative, people in general, and I could go on. He also loves becoming an Environmental Public Health Professional (better known as a Public Health Inspector). He loves me too, which I will never stop marvelling at - I'm so grateful!
Ok enough mush. Welcome, and I hope you enjoy these tidbits from Todd as much as I do!
